Physical Therapy Protocols to Attenuate Skeletal Muscle Atrophy in Critically ill Patients: Narrative Review

To describe the physical therapy protocols used in critically ill patients to attenuate skeletal muscle atrophy. We conducted a search PubMed and Embase from inception November 2020. Observational or experimental studies published English Spanish that evaluated effect of on attenuation atrophy through strength mass measurement were considered eligible. Studies only included if they reported detailed description dosing interventions. Seventeen met eligibility criteria. randomised clinical trials (n = 16) observational 1).
